Every number on MilitaryCalc is sourced from public DoD, VA, DFAS, and TSP publications. We do our best to keep them current, but rates can change mid-year, eligibility rules can be amended, and there may be edge cases not covered by our calculators. Always confirm with your unit pay office, finance office, or the official source before making a financial or career decision.

MilitaryCalc is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way connected to the U.S. Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, any branch of service, or any other U.S. government agency.
